3.105. Network initialization failed error?

I am getting an error that says Network initalization failed. Path not found file: C:preval50
etfiledirpdoxusrs.net directory C:preval50
etfilesdir I cannot run estimate.

This conflict can occur with Goldmine lead-tracking software, and the following instructions will fix EstiMate but are NOT warranted against disturbing Goldmine's setup. That said, they are unlikely to interfere with Goldmine.

1. Close EstiMate and any other open programs.
2. Click Start>Settings>Control Panel
3. Double-Click on the bde administrator icon
4. Under the databases tab double click on the EstiMate entry.
5. On the right column make sure the entries are as follows:
Type = Standard
Default Driver = Paradox
Enable BCD = False
Path = C:Program FilesEstiMateData
6. Click on the configuration tab and double clik drivers.
7. Double Click on Native and highlight PARADOX.
8. On the right hand column look at the entry called net dir.
9. The path name for net dir should be C:
10. If there is anything beyond the back slash delete that information.
11. ** IMPORTANT **After making sure the path for net dir is C:
press enter.
12. From the menu bar press object and apply.
13. Click OK twice.
14. Restart estimate.
