3.134. Transaction not in balance error?

When I try to import my transactions into QuickBooks I get an error that says 'This transaction is not in balance make sure amonts detailed are on the form for this transaction = the amount at the top.' I press OK and I get another message: 'error on line 6. Cant record invalid transaction'.

There are two possibilities for resolution of this error.
1. In EstiMate select the job you are trying to export and edit the individual line items. Re-calculate each one by pressing the calculate total button.
2. Export the job again and attempt to import into QuickBooks.

Second possibility:

1. Open QuickBooks and on your keyboard press Ctrl + A.
2. Find your sales tax account. It is usually under (other current liablility) > Sales Tax Payable. On your keyboard press Ctrl + E.
3. Highlight the string of text in the box and copy it.
4. Open EstiMate and click Management > Configure EstiMate.
5. Delete any text that may be in the tax description field.
6. Paste (Ctrl + V) the string of text you copied from QB into the description field and press the green checkmark to OK your changes.
7. Try exporting from EstiMate and importing into QuickBooks once again.
