NOTE: YOU SHOULD BE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOUR DATA IS BACKED UP BEFORE DOING THIS PROCEDURE. DELETING THE ESTIMATE DIRECTORY WILL ALSO DELETE THE FOLDER THAT CONTAINS YOUR ESTIMATE DATA RESULTING IN IRRECOVERABLE DATA LOSS.

*NOTE: YOU SHOULD ONLY DELETE THE ESTIMATE DIRECTORY IF DIRECTED TO DO SO BY ESTIMATE SOFTWARE SUPPORT STAFF. DELETING THE ESTIMATE DIRECTORY OR FOLDER WILL DELETE ALL THE DATA IN THE FOLDER RENDERING YOUR SOFTWARE UNUSABLE.

Procedure:
1. Right-Click on your Start Icon and select ?Explore?. Windows Explorer will appear.
2. In the left hand column open the C drive icon, if it is not already open, and find the ?Program Files? file folder. click the plus sign to the left of ?Program Files? to open it.
3. Find the EstiMate folder in the list of folders under the Program Files directory. Right-click on the EstiMate folder and select the delete menu option. If you get a message asking if you want to send it to the recycle bin or if you are 'sure' you want to delete it, click the 'Yes' button. TIP: If you do not see the EstiMate folder, make sure you are looking in ?Program Files? and NOT simply ?Programs?.
4. You have now successfully deleted the EstiMate folder.
Q: The folder will not delete. I get an Access Denied error when trying to delete it.
A: Make sure all copies of EstiMate are closed down on all machines, then try deleting it again. If you still have the problem then reboot the computer and try deleting the directory again.
