4.51. How do I discount one line item and not others?

How do I discount one item only. For example, give a discount on a banner, but not design labor or the set of magnetics on the same proposal.

1. Price the banner as normal and save the line item.

2. Calculate how much the discount is going to be, a handy calculator icon is available on your pricing screen if needed.

3. Click Add item > free-form enter the discount calculated in step 2 as a negative dollar amount and a description like "banner discount" that indicates to the customer that this is their discount on the banner. Save the line item and proceed with pricing the design labor and magnetics.
