4.88. How do I get EstiMate to accept my path to the data?

I installed the software, and tried to get
it to use my network data and it won't. There is a red dot, The OK button in the pop-up stays
greyed out and I can't click it. I have made the files sharable, when I click
on show network configuration it shows the path and "true", but I still can't
get it to accept it. Is there something else I need to do?

There can be several possibilities.

1. The path to the data is improperly formatted.
Solution: Make sure the path is in the format of \\computername\Path to data
or via drive map i.e. X:\data

2. There is a mispelling or missing character in the path.
Solution: Double-check spelling.

3. The user does not have permission to access the data folder.
Solution: Put the user in the administrators group.

4. There is no data in the folder.
Solution: Direct EstiMate to a complete data set. There should be over 150+ databases in the EstiMate data folder.
