4.109. How do I install EstiMate?

I have purchased my software and am ready to install it, so what is the installation process?

1. Place your EstiMate CD in your computers CD-Rom drive. Push the drive tray closed.

NOTE: If you do not have an EstiMate CD, you can request one by calling 888-304-3300 or you can download the trial from www.pricingmadeeasy.com

2. An autorun screen will appear. Click the Install EstiMate Suite English version or Install EstiMate Suite Metric version.

3. Press the next button on the Welcome to the EstiMate Software Wizard screen.

4. Review the agreement and click the "I accept the agreement" button and click the next button.

5. EstiMate will automatically create a directory in the C:\Program Files folder. To accept this default and move to the next step (recommended) click the next button. If you wish the files to be installed in a different location, input the location of your choice and then click Next.

6. Click the Next button on the select start menu folder screen.

7. The additional tasks screen gives you the opportunity to create a desktop icon and a quick launch icon. Make your selections and click the Next button.

8. On the ready to install screen review the settings you have selected. Click the install button to install the program or or click the back button to go back and make changes.

When you click the install button the program will automatically begin the installation process. Press the finish button at the end.

Q: I am installing EstiMate after installing windows/reformatting/replacing a drive/replacing my computer is there anything else I need to do?

A: Yes. You will need to contact EstiMate for a key. Open EstiMate and click on the Unlock My Features button. Make a note of the ISN. Go to http://www.pricingmadeeasy.com/estimate/support/index.php and fill out the key request form or call 888-304-3300 for your key.

Q: My installation screens do not match the instructions listed above, what is going on?

A: You have an older version of the software. Contact EstiMate for a new version or download the trial from www.pricingmadeeasy.com
