How do I make EstiMate use my own proprietary job numbering system?

Click Print > Invoice from the job screen. Uncheck the box that says Append job number to invoice. This will cause EstiMate to not print job numbers on any invoices. Then pursue one of several options.

1. Click the custom header link and enter the info there. Be sure the custom header box is checked, and that you update the custom header with the correct job number everytime you do a new job.

2. Enter the Job # info in the description or production notes (non-printing) part of the job.

3. Renumber the jobs in the preferences section (Management > Configure EstiMate > Preferences.) You will need to re-append the job number after doing so, if you want it to print on the invoice.
