How do I price scanning work in EstiMate?

It depends largely on how you work or prefer to bill for the task. If you want to charge a flat rate for the scanning you would use the retail items section of EstiMate. If charging by the hour for the scanning then you would use 'Other'.

To illustrate, if you are scanning a logo for a customer and want to add it to the estimate using your hourly design rate as a base you would do the following:

1. Click Add Item > Other
2. Enter a description like 'Scanning' or 'Scanning - 600 dpi'
3. Select hourly rate from the dropdown box.
4. Enter the amount in hours or fractions thereof you think it will take to do the scanning.
5. Dot the option for design rate.
6. Press the calculate total button and the green OK checkmark to add the scanning charge to the estimate.
