4.191. How do I suppress dollar amounts on line items?

I am doing an estimate with multiple 'Free Form' line items and I want to show the total but supress the dollar amount of the individual line items. How do I do this?

Versions 1.9 and later now have a 'Suppress individual item prices on estimate' checkbox on the Print A Report screen. To access, click Print > estimate. The 'print a report' dialog box will appear. Check the box on the lower right that says 'Suppress individual item prices on estimate' and proceed to print as normal.

1. Create one 'Free Form' line item.
2. Enter the number and/or description of the sign and press enter.
3. Continue until all signs have been entered. For your convenience a scroll bar has been added to the 'Other' screen as of version 1.61.
4. Once you have entered all the signs select 'flat rate item'. Enter '1' for the quantity and the total price of all the signs you have entered in the Price Each column.
5. Click calculate total and then the green OK checkmark. Thus you will have listed all signs, but show only the composite total for the signs.
