What did you have in mind when you setup the wide format inkjet plugin with multiple
PRINT MODE'S like 360-2, 360-4; 360-6 and what is the difference between these?
The difference is in the print speed and dpi resolution. The specifications are directly from the printer manufacturer and you can see what these are at any time by clicking the book icon next to the print mode dropdown when you are on the pricing screen or from EstiMate's main screen by clicking Edit Data Files > Inkjet Printers.
The idea behind these settings is to make EstiMate calculate production times that have your specific printer in mind rather than using a predetermined calculation based on average printer speeds.
When you are inputting the information about the sign that you are estimating, it tells you the maximum number of hours you can spend on that job without dropping below your hourly rate. That has been a big boost for me. When the estimate has been accepted by the client, with one click, I convert the estimate into a job. Once converted, I can printout a job manifest and projected number of hours allotted to do the job. My crew, on their own, now compete to beat the allotted time. It's become sort of a game for them and more profit for the company!
